Randall L. Capps, Manager & CEO
Mr. Capps was born in Covina, California in 1955. His family moved to Belen, New Mexico when he was a child. Mr. Capps graduated from New Mexico State University in 1977, with a business degree. From 1977 to 1984, he served as a petroleum landman in Midland for Texaco, Enserch Exploration, and American Trading & Production. Mr. Capps served as Vice President of Calvalcade Oil Corporation in Lubbock, Texas from 1984 to 1986 before starting Xeric Oil & Gas (the predecessor to XOG) in late 1986. Mr. Capps has five children and four grandchildren.

R.C. (Rob) Barnett, President
Mr. Barnett was born in Midland, Texas in 1958, and has lived in Midland his entire life. He attended the University of Texas of the Permian Basin. From 1979 to 1987, Mr. Barnett was an independent landman and lease broker. Between 1987 and 1994 Mr. Barnett served as operations manager and head landman for Kelly H. Baxter Operating Company, before coming to Xeric in late 1994. From 1994 to June of 1998 he was Vice President of Land at Xeric. In July of 1998, Mr. Barnett was appointed President. Mr. Barnett is responsible for land related matters. He is married and has two children.

W. Kyle Lewis, Chief Operating Officer
Mr. Lewis was born in Hamlin, Texas in 1969. He is a graduate of Texas Tech University with a degree in accounting. From 1992 to 1993, Mr. Lewis was a revenue accountant with National Energy Group, Inc. in Dallas. He moved to Austin, Texas in 1993 to pursue an MBA at the University of Texas and serve as Controller of Council Oaks, Inc. In 1996, Mr. Lewis came on board as Controller of Xeric. Mr. Lewis was appointed COO for XOG in 2011. He is responsible for day to day operations.

Carl O. Brininstool, Vice President & Secretary
Mr. Brininstool was born in Kermit, Texas. He graduated from Eastern New Mexico University in 1976 with a business degree. From 1977 to 1982, he served as Petroleum Landman for Texaco, Inc. in Houston, Texas. From 1982 to 1992, he served as District Landman, Manager of Acquisitions and Divestitures, and Oil Marketing Manager of U.S. Operations for American Trading and Production Corporation in Midland and Houston. Mr. Brininstool has served in various capacities with Xeric/XOG since 1992. He is married with three children and two grandchildren.

Bryan J. Johnston, Controller
Mr. Johnston was born in 1980, and grew up in Canadian, Texas. He received a BBA in Management from West Texas A&M University, and a BS in Accounting from Post University, graduating Cum Laude. In 2004 he moved to Farmington, New Mexico and worked for Automation-X Corp. There he served in numerous capacities until moving to Midland, Texas to work for Western Falcon, Inc. Mr. Johnston held the title of Assistant Controller at WFI from 2006 to 2010. From 2010 to 2011, he served as Assistant Controller for Saulsbury Industries in Odessa, Texas. Mr. Johnston has been the Controller for XOG Operating since 2011. Mr. Johnston is married with three daughters.

Eldon S. West III, Gulf Coast Exploration Manager
Mr. West was born in 1948 in Wichita, Kansas. After earning a B.S. and M.S. in geology at Wichita State University, he began his 33 year career in petroleum geology with Exxon Corporation in Kingsville, Texas in 1978. Most of his exploration experience has been in Mid Continent and Texas projects, and through the years he has had the good fortune to develop a wide array of friends and contacts in the exploration business. Mr. West joined XOG Operating, LLC in 2008, shortly after retiring from U.S. Army Special Forces with more than 20 years of active and reserve duty with that organization. He is married, lives in Corpus Christi, Texas, and has one son who is a Registered Architect in the State of Texas.
